TSM has had a tumultuous couple of years since the 2018 departure of AD carry, Yiliang "Peter" "Doublelift" Peng. However, immediately upon his return in the Summer Split this past year, the team returned to the Finals, winning yet another title, and qualifying for Worlds. The team failed to win a single game at Worlds, however, and the team is now making multiple changes going into the new year. With Søren "Bjergsen" Bjerg retiring, the 2021 roster is much anticipated. Here is the current rumored TSM 2021 roster.

TSM
Pos. 2020 2021
Top Broken Blade Huni
Jungle Spica Spica
Mid Bjergsen PowerOfEvil
ADC Doublelift Lost
Support Biofrost SwordArt
H. Coach Parth Bjergsen

Confirmed player signings are in green. Confirmed player departures are in strikethrough red. Transfers reported by reputable sources are in purple.

In the Jacob Wolf Free Agency Show in partnership with Evil Geniuses, Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon was reported to be playing for TSM moving into 2021, replacing Sergen "Broken Blade" Çelik. Huni now qualifies as an NA resident and therefore does not take up an import slot. He is historically one of the best top laners throughout the LEC and LCS and was also competitive in the LCK on SKT in 2017. Now he finds himself as the second reported player to end up on TSM, behind Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage who was rumored to verbally agree to sign with the team earlier this off-season.

UPDATE 11/17: In the Jacob Wolf Free Agency Show in partnership with Evil Geniuses, Hu "SwordArt" Shuo-Chieh was reported to be signing with TSM as the team's new starting support. SwordArt has established himself as one of the finest support players of all and recently qualified for his first World Championship final on Suning.

UPDATE 11/18: According to a post by Jacob Wolf, TSM is struggling to sign SwordArt due to visa complications and payment issues. If they can't sign SwordArt, Doublelift may not play, requiring TSM to start Lost. TSM is currently in talks with Evil Geniuses for a two part trade including Lost and Huni. Both trades may not happen if TSM fail to sign SwordArt.

UPDATE 11/19: TSM has confirmed that the team is parting ways with Broken Blade. The top laner is reportedly joining FC Schalke 04 Esports for the 2021 League of Legends European Championship season.

UPDATE 11/21: TSM officially announced their signing of PowerOfEvil as their third-ever mid laner following Bjergsen's retirement.

UPDATE 11/24: TSM has added to its staff by signing Anand "Curry" Agarwal and Jack "Kayys" Kayser. Curry has worked with TSM before, and most recently was the Assistant Coach of FlyQuest. Kayys last worked as the Analyst for Origen in the 2020 LEC Spring Split.

UPDATE 11/25: Doublelift has announced his retirement from professional League of Legends in a Twitlonger

UPDATE 11/26: TSM has signed SwordArt as its new support in a gargantuan two-year deal worth $6 million.

UPDATE 11/30: TSM has confirmed its signing of Huni, which was reported to be complete by Esportmaniacos' Pablo "Bloop" Suárez shortly before the confirmation. TSM is reportedly promoting Academy Lost, which would complete the roster.

UPDATE 12/4: Biofrost has confirmed he will be taking a break from professional play and will be streaming.

UPDATE 12/6: TSM confirms Lost will start as their 2021 AD carry alongside SwordArt in the bot lane. TSM first brought on Lost one year ago after their conversations with him at the TSM Scouting Combine. This finalizes their roster with Huni, Spica, PowerOfEvil, Lost, and SwordArt.

UPDATE 12/9: TSM releases Jackson "Evolved" Dohan from their Academy roster and sign three new players, making an entirely different squad from 2020 with five new faces representing the team. Former TSM top laner, Kevin "Hauntzer" Yarnell, NA bot laner Sun "Cody Sun" Li-Yu, and LMS support, Wang "Yursan" Sheng-Yu, have joined for the 2021 season.  Leo "Babip" Romer was signed as the TSM Academy jungler last week.
