Another Star Falls - PraY Announces Retirement From His Pro Gaming Career

PraY has announced retirement from his professional gaming career.

On the 21st (KST), Kim “PraY” Jong-in announced that he will be retiring from his professional career. PraY had been taking a break during the 2019 spring split; this announcement is a surprise to all fans and any people related to the esports scene.

Through his personal stream, PraY announced that he will be retiring from his professional career, saying, “I’m not confident enough to do well,” and added that he isn’t confident enough because of last year. “As I lost confidence, I started suspecting the career of being a pro gamer as a whole”, said PraY.

PraY had his debut as the ADC of Najin Sword. There, he had performed as one of the aces; later playing with the famous ROX Tigers members (then, GE Tigers). He succeeded to secure the LCK trophy afterward, and reached MSI and Rift Rivals with Longzhu Gaming (Kingzone DragonX).

However, PraY announced that he’ll be taking a break prior to the spring season. It was his second break as a pro gamer; there were many rumors where he’ll head to next, but his next step was retirement. As of today, another star has fallen in the horizon.
