Quickfire Announces a $150,000 Invitational, "Supernova CS:GO Malta"

Quickfire has just announced a $150,000 CS:GO invitational between eight tier-one 
teams. The event, named the "Supernova CS:GO Malta", will be held between the 29th of November and the 2nd of December at the Intercontinental Arena Conference Centre.

This CS:GO esports competition is a first for the country, as well as Quickfire, and will be co-produced with StarLadder. This event will also be sponsored by AirMalta, Malta Tourism Authority, Gaming Malta, Intercontinental Malta, and Holiday Inn Express.

"We believe that Malta has a lot to offer esports fans," said Simon De 
Cesare, CEO of the Eden Leisure Group. "We are thrilled to welcome teams of this calibre, and we hope that our island will become a top destination in the global esports circuit."

The starting line-up welcomes Virtus Pro and BIG clan as the first two confirmed participating teams for this event. Quickfire will be releasing more information about the rest of the teams on their website as well as on their Facebook page closer to the tournament.
