The Straw Hat Pirates' journey expands into restaurant management with Kairosoft.

On the 9th, BANDAI NAMCO announced a new title, 'One Piece Grand Restaurant,' currently in development with Kairosoft. This game adapts the One Piece IP into a restaurant management simulation, where players join the Straw Hat Pirates' staff to manage the Baratie 2, a new floating restaurant on the sea.

The Baratie 2, the game's setting, is established as the second branch of the original Baratie restaurant from the series. The restaurant is run with the help of the Straw Hat Pirates' chef, Sanji. Players will work alongside Sanji to create various dishes, design menus, and personally handle customer service.

The game will feature a variety of dishes from the original series, along with a mechanic that allows players to enhance their cooking using Devil Fruit abilities. Notably, over 400 One Piece characters will appear as staff or customers, offering a unique look at these iconic figures gathering in one restaurant.

As the game is developed by Kairosoft—known for their extensive library of business games starting with Game Dev Story—players can expect to see a vast array of One Piece characters rendered in the studio's signature pixel art style. Additionally, the game will feature exclusive character events and special interactions not found in the original series.

One Piece Grand Restaurant will be released on October 22.
