'Lies of P' and 'Stellar Blade,' two hit titles that have elevated the status of Korean action games with impressive global performance, are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
First, NEOWIZ's Lies of P will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on August 6. The Switch 2 version will be released as a Complete Edition, including the base game and the DLC, 'The Story of the Prince.' The game follows P, a puppet created by Geppetto, as he fights for survival in the Belle Époque-inspired city of Krat. It has been particularly well-received for its sophisticated action mechanics and parrying-based combat.
SHIFT UP has also announced that Stellar Blade is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. While a specific release date has not been disclosed, it is expected to arrive in 2026. Stellar Blade features the story and combat of Eve, who fights to save a ruined Earth. This announcement confirms SHIFT UP's plans to expand beyond PS5 and PC platforms, signaling a move to actively broaden its IP reach following its transition to self-publishing.
Both Lies of P and Stellar Blade are currently in the midst of developing sequels. This Switch 2 release is expected to serve as a bridge to expand the series to a wider fan base. Given that both titles were highly praised for their optimization—a common pain point for many recent games—expectations for the quality of the Switch 2 port are high.
