Bit Blaster XL and Refunct added to Humble Bundle

In case you missed it, there’s still time to grab the Humble Overwhelmingly Positive Bundle, which features games that received “overwhelmingly positive” reviews from Steam. As a cherry on top, Bit Blaster XL and Refunct have just been added to the bundle. For me, though, bonus games rarely sway my mind when it comes to buying these bundles, because they’re mostly used as a clever marketing ploy.

Still, this bundle is an absolute steal for what it offers: Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and Pony Island are at the base tier (if you like the Pirate’s Curse, please also check out her latest adventure, Half-Genie Hero). DEADBOLT looks like an interesting cross between Hotline Miami and Mark of the Ninja, and people really seem to dig VA-11 Hall-A for its unique take on game narrative.

If you’re looking to take a break from last year’s AAA titles while waiting for this year’s, or simply want to pile on to your rather bulky backlog (that you’ll surely get to one day), I’d say you should nab this bundle. While you’re at it, also check out the Best of 2016 bundle, which brings together last year’s favorites such as Evoland 2, Rust, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong.
