[Characters]

To prevent continuous Grapple from being possible, the timing of when the CC count for Grapple is applied has been changed.
  -  Applied simultaneously with Grapple -> Applied when Grapple is released

Fixed the issue where additional HP recovery was not being applied intermittently when inflicted with a hit from a Grapple skill.

The prerequisite requirement of switching to the Awakening weapon in order to learn an Absolute skill has been removed.

Some Awakening skills that counter-attack enemies’ attacks will have defense effects back, and CC effects will not be applied in PvP.

Some skills that are used as approaching skills will have Super Armor.

Some Flow skills that are used as a combo after another skill will keep the skill effects of the preceding skills. However, if a Flow skill can be used as a standalone skill, it will have skill effects independent of the preceding skill.

Skills that have defense effects will not have CC effects anymore. (CC effects will only be applied in PvE.)
  -  However, the Wizard and Witch will have one skill that has both defense effects and CC, considering their mechanics in Awakening stance.
  -  Details will be written below in the section for each class.

As mentioned last week, Super Armor has been added for all classes’ Black Spirit’s Rage skills. In order to prevent battles from being too focused on Black Spirit’s Rage skills, the speed at which the Black Spirit’s Rage meter increases has been readjusted.

The recovery rate of Black Spirit’s Rage when taking hits has been modified.
  -  Recovers 1% Black Spirit’s Rage by 10% chance when hit. (both PvE and PvP)
  -  Now there is a 100% chance of recovering Black Spirit’s Rage when you kill another Character.

Damage of 100% and 200% Black Spirit’s Rage skills have been adjusted.

Black Spirit’s Rage Absorption (Common) has been added (Hotkey: Z).
  -  Previous Black Spirit’s Rage Absorption has become a special skill and the newly-added Rage Absorption (Special) will increase Attack/Casting Speed and AP upon activation.
  -  Press Hotkey: Z in order to activate Black Spirit’s Rage Absorption by locking either the common or special skill.
  -  By default, it is set as Black Spirit’s Rage Absorption (Common).



[Warrior]

Fixed the issue where you could not use Furious Blow by pressing S + LMB.

Fixed the issue where Down Smash did not work for Ultimate: Ground Smash.

Pulverize will have Forward Guard.

Flow: Tempest will have Forward Guard.

Grave Digging will inflict Bound only in PvE.

Flow: Slashing the Dead will inflict Bound only in PvE.

Flow: Knee Kick will not inflict Float anymore.

Flow: Knee Kick will hit 4 times instead of 2, and the damage will be reduced during cooldown.

Shield Tide will inflict Float on the first hit in PvE only.

Shield Assault will inflict Knock Back on the first hit and Bound on the second hit in PvE only.

Seismic Strike will inflict Bound in PvE only.



[Ranger]

Breezy Blade will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stiffness only in PvE.

Flow: Rushing Wind will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Elven Rage will inflict Knock Down only in PvE.

Nature’s Tremble will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Fixed the issue where Flow: Rooting only hit three times instead of four times.

Damage of the extra hit for Will of the Wind III has increased.

“Damage reduced when on cooldown - PvE only” has been added in the skill description of Absolute: Will of the Wind.



[Sorceress]

Vile Plan will have Forward Guard, and will inflict Float only in PvE.

Vile Plan will not have reduced damage in PvP.

Engulfing Darkness will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Forward Guard has been removed from Feral Stampede.

Wailing Beast will inflict Bound only in PvE.

Axe of Destruction will inflict Knock Down only in PvE.

Flow: Slugfest will inflict Stun, Stiffness, and Knock Back only in PvE.

Devastation will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Flow: Earth Dividing will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Fixed the issue where Rooting hit fewer times and dealt more damage per hit.
  -  3 hits > 4 hits
  -  1427% > 1043%

Fixed the issue where the monsters hit by Shake Off were pushed to the left side.



[Tamer]

Resonance will inflict Stun only in PvE.

Cloud Stomping will inflict Stiffness and Bound in PvE only.

Flow: Cloud Ride will inflict Bound in PvE only.

Moonlight Strike will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stiffness in PvE only.

Flow: Full Moon will have Super Armor.

Allround Spinner will inflict Stiffness and Float in PvE only.

Flow: Soaring Strike will have Forward Guard, and will inflict Knock Down in PvE only.

The brief freeze that happens when using Soaring Kick has been fixed.

Fixed the issue where Soaring Kick did not inflict Float properly.

The second hit of Soaring Kick will only be applied to an enemy who is grabbed.

The following sentence has been added to Moonlight Strike.

When the Musa ha the Musa’s Spirit buff on, he will not have Super Armor while using Crosscut anymore. Instead, he will not use any resources and will not have any cooldown for Crosscut if he has Musa’s Spirit buff on.

Crust Crusher will inflict Knock Down in PvE only.

Down Smash effect has been removed from Crust Crusher.

Flow: Foul Play will have Down Smash.

Flow: Foul Play will have Forward Guard, and will inflict Knock Back in PvE only.

Flow: Backflow will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stun in PvE only.

Fixed the issue where the original color of the Gavi Regan Blade was too dark and could not be dyed well.

Fixed the issue where the second hit of Chaos: Red Moon was applied twice.

Sprinting speed in Kerispear combat stance will be faster, and the animation will be more dynamic.

Petal Drill will have Super Armor, and will inflict Stun in PvE only.

Max prices of certain Accessories at TET and PEN level have changed.

[Contents]

The lever for the castle gate will no longer be destroyed from the summoned monster’s attack during the Conquest War.

Fixed some bugs in Node/Conquest Wars.

Fixed the issue where the damage inflicted by a horse’s Charge skill would not be applied to a Siege Defense Tower once in a while.

Fixed the issue where a player was not automatically transported to a place near their guild castle before the Node War begins.
  -  However, only guild members within the Node War area will be transported.
  -  Guild members who are not in the area where the Node War is taking place or in safe areas will not be transported, and they can be transported by using the ‘Come Together’ feature in this case.

Fixed the issue where the union members were not automatically transported as a whole union guild castle before the Node/Conquest War begins.

You will now be able to use the channel and server chat in all areas without consuming energy or items when equipping the Crowns.

Some of the Young Red Dragon’s movements will now appear more natural.

Added new guild content, ‘Afuaru’s Treasure Box’.
  -  You can obtain ‘[Guild] Afuaru’s Torn Map Piece’ by gathering, fishing, and hunting.
  -  You can sell ‘[Guild] Afuaru’s Torn Map Piece’.
  -  You can make ‘[Guild] Restored Afuaru’s Map’ with 5 Afuaru’s Torn Map Pieces through Simple Alchemy.
  -  You can summon ‘Afuaru’s Treasure Box’, the guild boss when using the map item in the designated place.
  -  Afuaru’s Treasure Box does not attack, and every guild member who participated in hitting it can each get loot rewards upon defeating it.
  -  If you are not part of any guild, you can use the item even if you craft the map, and the Torn Map Pieces can be sold to NPCs for 1,000,000 Silver.

Wild Thracia has been added.
  -  Wild Thracia will spawn as Wild Thracia VI and Wild Thracia X, and the game will become a little harder as the number of slots used in the mini game has increased; although you will get more rewards depending on the quality of your Thracia.
  - Since Wild Thracia will be added, the number of Young Thracia VI and Young Thracia X has been reduced by 40%.
  -  Young Thracia and Wild Thracia will sprout in Kamasylvia. However, the total number of Thracia will remain the same as before.


※ Thracia has been designed so that it is the highest among the life content in BDO, and in order for you to enjoy it properly, you will need to make a huge investment, but will certainly gain rewards accordingly.

However, many players gave us feedback saying that too much money is made from obtaining Thracia. Thus, it has been changed to take more time for you to find Thracia by expanding their spawn areas.

Also, we took in your opinion that the difficulty of the mini game is too easy so we tried to give you a bit more challenge by allowing you to play 14x14 grid on some of the Thracia VI and Thracia X (level 4, 5).

On the other hand, we are trying to come up with a means that will prevent players who enjoy the mini game from being stressed over being unable to find Thracia; we will apply this to the game as soon as it is settled.

Greatly increased the chance of obtaining Hard Black Crystal Shard and Sharp Black Crystal Shard from Superb Thracia VIII, IX, X, and O.

Removed the horse market registration timer for your convenience in using the horse market and horse breeding market.
  -  Removed the 1-hour registration timer that is applied when registering mounts in the horse market.
  -  Removed the 6-hour registration timer that is applied when registering mounts in the horse breeding market.

Fixed the issue where the result of crafting and the crafting information did not match the Zaphina Cannon at the Ship Part Workshop at Port Epheria.


※ We prepared for the Guild Master Duel content to be added this week, but we postponed the update since we thought it would need more thorough preparation as many of you are looking forward to it.

We sincerely apologize for postponing the update schedule. We will make an announcement once we update, and will do our best to update it as soon as possible.



[Monsters]

The spawn time for some World Bosses has been changed.

PvP will be unavailable when World Bosses are summoned. (Added May 28th)
  -  Duel, Forced PvP, and Guild Wars will be unavailable and you cannot hit other players. 
  -  Team Battle and Guild Battle reservation cannot be made from 30 minutes prior to the World Boss spawn time and 15 minutes after the World Boss spawn. 
  -  If you are in the middle of PvP when the World Boss spawns, PvP will be unavailable for you from the moment when the World Boss spawns. 
-  PvP will still be available in Red Battlefield and Arena of Arsha even when World Bosses are summoned.   

The following items cannot be obtained by players that go under 10% contribution when participating in defeating the World Bosses.
  -  Kzarka, the Lord of Corruption: Kzarka’s Sealed Weapon Box
  -  Nouver: Nouver’s Sealed Sub-weapon Box
  -  Karanda: Dandelion Weapon Box

The health of the first Garmoth of Fury Statue that spawns when Garmoth appears has been reduced by 90%.

Fixed the issue where Ancient Kutum did not despawn even though the conditions were met when it had health lower than 50%.

Fixed the issue where Muskan of Madness did not disappear even after it hadn’t been engaged in combat during a span of 2 minutes during a guild raid.

Asula’s Weakened Magic Accessories can now be obtained when killing monsters in the following areas.

Removed the 2 Stone Rhino that were awkwardly placed at Stonetail Horse Ranch.

※ There will be improvements made to the grinding loot in next week’s update. The rate of mostly looted items, such as accessories, Black Stone, Caphras Stone, Scroll Written in Ancient Language, the materials needed for training dream horse, Dragon Scale Fossil, etc. will vary depending on the grinding spots. You will now be able to pick the grinding spots depending on the items you want.



[Quest, Knowledge]

Targets will now catch up quickly when you are far away from the target you need to escort in the ‘[Repeat] Missing Bride’ quest.

‘[Guild] Luxurious Support Box’ has been added to guild mission rewards.
  - Can be obtained by completing all guild missions except boss subjugation missions.
  -  Can be sold for 1,000,000 Silver each at the guild shop (Cannot be sold to regular NPCs).
        -  Upon completing small guild mission: 1 Box
        -  Upon completing medium guild mission: 2 Boxes
        -  Upon completing large/extra large guild mission: 3 Boxes

Fixed the awkward parts in the description of certain quests and items.

Fixed the issue where the navigation for certain quests was either awkward or wrong.

Fixed the issue where the character’s lines would appear awkward when accepting certain quests.

Fixed the issue where you could not wave the flag sometimes in the ‘[Repeat] Communication Flag’.

You can now obtain Knowledge when you obtain Seaweed either by fishing or gathering.

Fixed the issue where the soldier NPC in Duvencrune appeared as a villager.

Fixed the issue where the villager NPC in Ibellab Oasia appeared as a soldier.

Fixed the issue where you could not close the Options - Game Settings UI on the login window by pressing ESC.

Fixed the issue where some parts in the description of the game time in the game tips did not match the actual in-game time.

Fixed the issue where certain buttons did not work properly when clicking on the list of player names and activity after setting the Guild Incentive.

Minimized the information on the resources in the area and Node Wars in the world map.

The login rewards you will obtain next will now show in the logoff UI.

Fixed the issue where the quest requirement for some Kamasylvia Contribution quests did not match the actual requirement in the Accepted Quest (O) - Repeated list.

Changed the design for the HP bar that appears above the character.

Added a new feature where your health bar will now be coloured according to how much health you have.
  -  You can toggle this feature through ‘Game Settings - Game - Toggle - Toggle On/Off Coloured Health Bar’.
  -  Your character’s health will appear in a different colour for every 1,000 points.
  -  When your character’s health goes over certain health points, your health bar will change colours in following order.
  -  Red → Orange → Green → Blue → Red

The navigation for the area at the end of eastern Heidel has been fixed.

Fixed the issue where the music did not play when turning up the volume after turning it down to 0 on game startup.

Fixed the issue where the sound and background of the notification that appears when Karanda despawns showed Nouver’s instead.

Now, the textures of the graphics will appear as high when talking with NPCs even though it is set to low in the Settings.

    is it so hard to realise that there's 3 type of gamers: pc / console / mobile. while last two are close to each other. PC scene require hardcore and challenging games. Not a dragon breeding simulator with dead pvp

      If I'm not mistaken, they canceled the changes because of bugs and will reinstall the system once they have been fixed.

    I do not understand what you are doing with the game. You killed pvp, you kill the game, very slowly and gradually. I (and many players) have spent more than two years on the game and now see how you killed the game for which you spent so much time. Russian players do not want to see your patches any more.

    The following items cannot be obtained by players that go under 10% contribution when participating in defeating the World Bosses.

    Can you look at this part of the translation again cause it's hard to understand what it means. Does it mean only top 10% gets boss boxes or something else?

      So if you are one of the players who are the bottom 10% of the whole players contributing to killing the boss, you won't get these items. This is to prevent players from trying to get the loots but not doing anything much during the raid. If you are one of the players in bottom 10% of the contribution, you can't obtain the weapon boxes or Garmoth Horn, although you can obtain other loot items.

    I play ninja and would like some CCs of the pre-awakening skills to be removed to make them more useful. The fact that we have only 4 CCs available makes some pre-awk skills not used because they cause CCs.
