KT Rolster have just issued a press release stating the team would not extend their contracts with Yongjoon "Fly" Song and Chanho "ssumday" Kim. The organization reported that the two players desired to further their careers in a different environment, and promised to rebuild in earnest for the coming 2017 Season.

Streaky but explosive toplaner ssumday has been a KT Rolster mainstay for over four years. His greatest achievement on the team was in Summer 2014, in which he contributed to a long-awaited LCK victory for the organization.

In contrast to ssumday's veteran status, Fly had been with KT for less than a year, joining the team early 2016 after a rather unimpressive stint in China. He delivered several fantastic performances since returning to Korea, particularly in their LCK Summer semifinal series against SKT T1.
