AFs Kramer: "I think we have a good chance of defeating KT Rolster"

On the 41th day of 2017 LCK Spring Split, Afreeca Freecs defeated Jin Air Green Wings with a 2-0 record.

Behind the team's clean victory, Jonghoon "Kramer" Ha was not afraid to be aggressive with Lucian in both games to lead the team to victory - and he did it with style.

Here is our interview with Jonghoon "Kramer" Ha.

Congratulations on defeating Jin Air Green Wings with a 2-0 record. How are you feeling right now?

I'm not really content since I didn't get to do skirmishes in the botlane during the laning phase. I really like doing botlane skirmishes, but I couldn't do it in both games.

Gyunghwan "MaRin" Jang really carried Game 1. How do you feel about matches like that?

MaRin loves games like that, but the rest of us certainly don't.

You picked Lucian in both games. Do you think Lucian is the best AD carry in the current metagame?

Lucian best fits into my playstyle. I like to play champions with good mobility, and Lucian has good mobility and is stylish to boot. Also, I will definitely play Vayne when she gets her chance to shine again.

Some fans were critical about the botlane duo when AFs wasn't doing great.

It would be a lie if I say that I don't mind. Back then, it wasn't easy to make plays because I didn't always agree with calls, but it's gotten better now that I can express my thoughts better. Also, it wasn't easy being compared to Junsik "Bang" Bae by MaRin, although I know he was only trying to fan our fighting spirit. However, it's still not easy to withstand the criticisms from the sharp-tongued trio of MaRin, Head Coach Yeonsung "iloveoov" Choi and Coach Gyehyun Jo.

What are your thoughts about your next match against KT Rolster?

I think we have a good chance of winning since KT Rolster isn't doing great lately. However, it won't be easy for me because I'll be facing Hyukgyu "Deft" Kim, one of the most difficult ADC player to lane against.

You are now very close to making the playoffs. Are you ready for it?

Honestly, it still hasn't hit me at all because it would be my first time making the playoffs. I'll try to take it as easy as possible, but I don't think the trio will leave me be like that.

Although he was probably joking, iloveoov recently has said that your career goal is to retire after earning $100,000.

I really was just kidding with that. I rarely say my true feelings out loud. Do you know how much people are upset at me because of that interview? I was already hurt by that interview even before the match. (Laughs) Besides, I'm pretty sure I said at least double the amount that he said in the interview. At the very least, I'm not even close to retiring. Why would I even think about retiring without winning the World Championship?
