On the 3rd (KST), in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split, T1 defeated Griffin 2-1. Although Griffin upset T1 in the first game, T1 won the following two games and extended their winning streak to five. Lee “Effort” Sang-ho was voted as the Player of the Game (POG) in both of the games that T1 won and was interviewed after the match.

Congratulations on today’s win. How do you feel being voted as POG twice?

I’m really happy that we’re continuing our winning streak and that I became the POG.

You would have thought you’d win 2-0, but Griffin wasn’t that easy. How was the feedback after Game 1?

We thought there were mistakes in our plays so we had feedback regarding that. Then we just said we should do our best in the next game.

What did you discuss that you should fix?

We should have snowballed quickly after getting Baron, but didn’t and that was big.

You played Blitzcrank three times and won all three. What does Blitzcrank mean to you?

I always pick the best pick according to the situation. In those situations, I picked Blitzcrank simply because he was the best choice.

You kept pulling Tahm Kench. Was that intended?

Tahm Kench was usually in the front line, so I thought we could erase him quickly if I pull him.

Faker played Lethal Tempo Akali in Game 3. What was the reason?

That was a mistake. There was some lag and it seems he made a mistake during the draft.

How did Faker react when he found out that he mispicked the rune?

The game already started, so there wasn’t anything he could do. It had already happened so he just said let’s do well with it.

Faker broke the most games played record in the LCK today. How did the teammates react?

We didn’t really… Faker also doesn’t cling to records, so we didn’t talk about it.

How is T1 planning to play the remaining games?

We’re on a happy winning streak, but we’re also showing shakiness by winning 2-1. We’ll show 2-0 games from now on.
