TSM Academy has swept 100 Thieves Academy out of the Quarterfinals of the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series Academy League Spring Playoffs. TSM Academy will face Dignitas Academy in the Semifinals next weekend.

TSM Academy and 100 Thieves Academy both qualified for the post-season after Immortals Academy was eliminated by DIG Academy in the second to last day of the 2020 LCS Spring Split. The teams then played each other later that day, with TSM coming away with the win and entering hte post-season just ahead of 100 Thieves in the Academy League standings.

TSM Academy entered the Spring Playoffs as the 4th seed, and possessed side selection advantage over the 5th seed 100 Thieves Academy. However, after seeing how the series played out, side selection may not have mattered.

100 Thieves Academy Jungler Juan "Contractz" Garcia has a wealth of experience in the LCS compared to TSM Academy Jungler Mingyi "Spica" Lu, but the latter Jungler ruled the rift on Thursday afternoon. Spica played Jarvan IV in all 3 games to the tune of an absurd 3/3/49 scoreline.

TSM Academy will face off against DIG Academy next week, but first, Evil Geniuses Academy and Team Liquid Academy will play in the other Quarterfinals match of the Spring Playoffs tomorrow. The winner will face 1st seed Cloud9 Academy in the Semifinals.

UPDATE April 3, 9:43 PM PT

TSM Academy will not face off against DIG Academy as the article above states. Cloud9 Academy has selected TSM Academy as its opponent for the Semifinals. DIG Academy will play against Evil Geniuses Academy.
