On Feb 7th, Nintendo released a new trailer and three TV commercials for the Switch via its official YouTube Channel.

The new trailer and commercials introduced three different modes: the “TV” mode, the “portable” mode, and the “table” mode; along with information on these modes, some detailed functions of the Switch were provided as well. The Switch supports multi-player mode, up to 8 people, and is capable of more sensitive motion recognition using a motion IR camera. It also features a screenshot capture button and ZL/ZR and SL/SR buttons for enhanced gameplay.

The Nintendo Switch supports online connection with other users. Online connection will be free to use in the beginning, but will be limited to paid users later on. Voice chat will be available through an application. Lastly, there will be no region locking, so console gamers all over the world can enjoy the Switch with no barriers.

The Nintendo Switch will be available for consumer purchase on March 3rd, 2017 (JST) and the price will be 29,980 JPY/299.99 USD.
