Vodafone Giants, parent company of Giants Gaming, has acquired the Rainbow Six Pro League Asia-Pacific championship roster, who previously competed under the Team Envy and Aerowolf banners. The acquisition is the most recent international signing by Vodafone Giants, who also currently fields a Spanish roster for Giants Gaming Rainbow Six: Siege.

Glen "Lunarmetal" Suryasaputra, captain and founder of the squad, led Adrian "Ysaera" Wui, Jordan "Jrdn" Cheng, Mohamed Matin "SpeakEasy", Mohamed Yunos and Jose "Histoire" Iman to a Rainbow Six Pro League Asia-Pacific championship. In joining Giants, the quintent from Southeast Asia aims to reproduce its domestic success on the international stage in 2020.

“The incorporation of these five players responds to our goal of continuing to be part of the international Rainbow Six: Siege community,” said David “Lozark” Alonso, sports director of Vodafone Giants, in an official statement by the organization. “The skills and dedication of the group are impressive. Thanks to the fact that they are joining Vodafone Giants, the team can now aspire to achieve even more ambitious goals”.

Lunarmetal echoed Lozark's sentiment on behalf of his team in the official release as well:  "Joining Giants represents a huge milestone for us. To see ourselves being noticed by an organization as respectable as Giants is humbling, and I'd like to thank David and his team for believing in us. We look forward to a good and long partnership with Vodafone Giants and we promise to give all our fans, old or new, a wonderful show”.

Looking ahead into the new year, Lozark's outlook for Giants is optimistic. "Our goal in 2020 is to keep fighting for everything in Rainbow Six: Siege".
