KT Score: "We will live up to your expectations in playoffs."

On April 2nd (KST), KT Rolster showed that the reports of their demise are greatly exaggerated as they defeated Longzhu Gaming with a clean 2-0 record in the last day of the regular season.

Playing Lee Sin and Elise respectively, Dongbin "Score" Ko served a vital role for the team's victory in both games as the team's jungler.

Here is our interview with Dongbin "Score" Ko.

Congratulations on finishing the season with a win. How are you feeling right now?

Today's match didn't matter for our position in the playoffs, but I'm still glad that we won because it was important that we ended the regular season with a win in order to play in the playoffs while on a winning streak.

You now are back on a winning streak after losing three matches in a row. Could this mean that you are done making changes?

Well, we are almost done making changes rather than being all done. We still have some kinks to work out, but we are definitely becoming more confident after the recent winning streak. I think we are adjusting pretty well.

I've heard that your main goal of the match was to care for Wonseok "PawN" Heo as much as possible. Did your teammates agree to that plan as well?

Since PawN hasn't been doing well lately, I wanted him to regain the confidence that he needed. Other teammates agreed to it as well.

You'll be starting the playoffs on the first playoff round. What team would you prefer to face in that round? Afreeca Freecs or MVP?

I really don't mind either way; if I had to choose, I want to face MVP because we've lost twice against them in the regular season. I hope that we'd have a chance to defeat every team at least once before being crowned as champion.

Aren't you worried about contesting Baron with Kyuseok "Beyond" Kim?

Kyungho "Smeb" Song has been doing well in Baron contests, so I'm not worried about that at all. (Laughs)

What was your most memorable match of this season?

I'd say that it's the latest match against Afreeca Freecs. We've been doing terrible not only in matches but also in scrims, so I made a resolution that we are going to defeat AFs no matter what. After we actually defeated them, I was really happy about it.

Thank you for your time. Do you have anything else that you want to share?

We've had many fans rooting for us ever since the beginning of the season. Although we haven't been doing well lately, we will live up to your expectations in playoffs.
